1.Introduction

CNC machine is a mechatronic machine tool as core of digital manufacturing technology , which is usually composed of control system, servo system, detection system, mechanical transmission system and other auxiliary systems

1In the CNC machine tool, the servo system receives the displacement and speed instructions from the CNC system. After transformation, setting and adjustment, the motor and mechanical transmission mechanism drive the coordinate axis and spindle of the machine tool to drive the workbench and tool rest. Through the linkage of the axes, the cutter produces various complex mechanical movements relative to the artifact, thus processing the artifact with complex shape required by the user.

2 According to the difference of transmission mechanism in machine tool, it can be divided into feed servo and spindle servo

3The feed servo takes the coordinates of the CNC machine tool as the control object to generate the cutting feed motion of the machine tool. Therefore, it is required that the feed servo can adjust the movement speed of the coordinate axis quickly and control the position accurately. The specific requirements are wide speed range, high displacement accuracy, stability and fast dynamic response.

4The spindle servo provides the cutting power needed to process all kinds of artifact, so it only needs to complete the spindle speed regulation and forward and reverse functions. However, when the machine tool is required to have the functions of thread processing, accurate stop and constant linear speed processing, the corresponding position control requirements are also put forward for the spindle. Therefore, it is required that its output power is large, with constant torque section and constant power section, with accurate stop control, and the spindle and feed linkage.
